Private funeral services for Clifton S. Brown, formerly of this city, were conducted at the Oakland Crematory this afternoon, Mr, Brown's death oeeurod in .Santa Fe, N. M., last Sunday. Mrs. Brown and lior two young children, and her mother. Mr,1;. Charles 12. Kraoav; of Oakland, arrived here yesterday with the body.Mr. Brown was a (graduate of the Berkeley high school v/horo he was medalist, and also from the university, where lie was a member of the Tilicuni club. lie served overseas in the signal cor p.-; dining the greater part of the war, completing his course at the university, .graduating in law after the war.
