DIES SUNDAYIvtii1iWord has boon received in Amarillo of the death of Miss Lillian Gunter* librarian of the Cooke County library, which occurred at 11 o’clock Sunday night in Gainesville.Miss Gunter, the niece of the late'Jule and Jot Gunter of the T-Anchor ranch, visited in Amarillo many times, and was well-known in this section of the country.In the library world, Miss Gunter was [known as the '‘Mother of the County j I Libraries of Texas/* for it was through I her influence that Texas secured a counity library law, thus enabling Potter |county to have a library.
