Reuben Fieker Jr.CARLINVILLE — Reuben D. Fieker Jr., 68, died at 1:34 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 1993, at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.He was employed at Prairie Farms Dairy in Carlinville for 48 years. A U.S. Navy World War II veteran, he was a member of Mount Nebo Masonic Lodge, Guy Baird American LegionPost 554 and Teamster’s Local525.Born Dec. 31,1924, on the family farm near Carlinville, he was the son of the late Reuben D. and Marguerite (Loges) Fieker Sr.He married the former Lois C. Moore Sept. 22, 1946, and she survives.Also surviving are two daughters, Charlene Osborne of Dallas, Texas, and Rebecca Mabus of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren; and three brothers,Donald and Theodore Fieker, both of Carlinville, and Charles Fieker of St. Louis.Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Heinz Funeral Home inCarlinville.Services are at 1 p.m. Sunday at Carlinville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Sabo officiating.Burial is in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville.Memorials may be made to the church, where he was a member.
