AMANA COLON IKSLyle R. Ludvicek, 42, of West Amana, died Sunday. May 12, 2002, from injuries suffered in a car accident. Services: 10:30a.m. Thursday, Clover Ridge United Methodist Church, Wal-ford. Burial: Castek Cemetery, Swisher. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements with Kloster Funeral Home, Maren90.A memorial fund has been established.He is survived by his wife, Ghis-laine; twosons, Michael and Jerry, and three daughters,Anne, Naomiand Esther, all at home;three brothers. Samuel of lxngBoat Key, Fla., 1‘aul of Swisher and Kenneth of Cedar Rapids; five sisters, Joyce Boulard of Louisville, Ky., and Olive Lud vicek, Grace Nederhoff, Gwen Williams and Anita Jackson, all of Cedar Rapids; and a special friend, Brandon of Cedar Rapids.He was preceded in death by his parents.Lyle Robert Ludvicek was born Nov. 21, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Emil and Ruth Patterson Ludvicek. He graduated from College Community High School in 1978 and married Ghislaine Ouelleton July 17, 1982, in Lennoxville, Quebec. He was employed as an assembly operator at Amana Appliances in Middle Amana.Lyle was his beloved wife’s soulmate and his children’s hero. He was a true lover of souls and a blessed servant of Christ.
