MASS MAY 11, -Following a protracted illness of a o«*m-plication of heart and kidney disorder*Simon Herbert Howe, a prominent shoomanufacturer and the fir t mayor ofMarlboro, died in South boro today, a srelt;175 years. M r. Howe was president of the S. H. Howe Shoe Ho,, one of the largest shoe manufnrturiai firm* in the country. In 1 when Marlboro was in corpora ted as a city, he was elected mayor and had also served two year* in the governor's council. He is survived by a widow, a son and a daughter.
