Ed Ferrell OfDenison DiesVALLEY PALLS (GNS) -Edgar Ferrell, 66, Denison, died yesterday In a Topeka hospital where he was admitted April 16.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Union church at Dension and burial will be in the Valley Falls cemetery with Nellis Hagge funeral home at Valley Falls in charge.Mr, Ferrell was born Jan. 20, 1908, in Valley Fails, a son of James and Minnie Graham Ferrell, and was graduated from Valley Falls High school.He and Dorothy M. Jackson were married Feb, 20,1929, at Oskaloosa.For many years he was a farmer west of Valley Falls before retiring and moving to Denison in 1966. He worked as a clerk for sales bams at Valley Falls, Effingham and Holton.Surviving are his wife, Mrs, Dorothy Ferrell, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Leland (Carolyn) Edwards, Valley Falls; a son, Donald Ferrell, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Beck, Pompano Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Joyce Virgin, Stow, Ohio; four brothers, Carl FerrelJ, Rushvilie, Albert Ferrell, Topeka, and Claude and James Ferrell, both of Valley Falls, and five grand-: children.
