Mrs, Mary Holland,Noted Detective, DiesThe funeral of Mrs. Mary E. Holland, finger print expert and detective, was held yesterday afternoon at the home, 4^32 Michigan avenue,, burial taking place at Mount Hope. , Mrs. Holland died Saturday night j following an operation. She was a student of detective methods under Farrier at Scotland Yard, and under Bertillon in Paris, and had assisted in solving many Chicago murdermysteries..She was awarded gold medals at the St. Louis and Jamestown Expositions.]
