OBITUARIESFUNERALSADAM WALKER A life long resident of the Plumas andTupper Districts, Adam Walker passed away in the Neepawa District Hospital on Wednesday, March 17, 1971 at the age of 73 years. Born in Austria on Pebruary 18, I898 he came to the Tupper District as a baby where he grew up and farmed all his life, retiring to Plumas in October 196b. He was married to Sophie Wutke on November 1, 1928 in Winnipeg. Mr* Walker was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Plumas, a director of Plumas Lans-downe Agricultural Society, and took an active interest in all sports. He is survived by his loving wife Sophie, 2 sons, Edward and Raymond and 1 daughter, Mrs. Reinhold (Gertrude) Kreutzer; 1 brother John; 2 sisters, Mrs. J.J. (Minnie) Kunzelman, Mrs. William (Lena) Kreutzer all of Plumas. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Jacob, Philip and Charlie; also 3 sisters Mrs. Adele Kreutzer, Mrs. Christina Smith, and Mrs. Katie Kreutzer. The funeralservice conducted by Pastor L.A. Koehler was held from Zion Lutheran Church, Plumas, on Saturday, March 20, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was in the family plot in Tupper CemeteryPallbearers were John Kreutzer, Metro Orzech-owski, Jake Rempel, Emil Schettler, Philip Dilk, Henry Priesentanz. Flowerbearers were Walter Walker, Alfred Walker, Leonard Kreutzer, Ronnie Smith, Allan Wutke and Harold Wutke. Hammond's Funeral Service of Gladstone was in care of arrangements.
