JOHN H. PARKER JR.ROMNEY. W.Va. — John “John ny Henry Parker Jr., 81. of Rom-ney, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at his residence.Born July 12, 1918. in Romney he was the son of the late John Henrv and Kate (Parker) Parker Sr.Mr. Parker served in the Army Air Force during World War II.Surviving are his wife. Ruth Harmison Parker; one son, David Renick Parker and wife Jill, Romney; and four grandchildren. Marie. Emily, Susan and John David Parker.Friends will be received at the Shaffer FXmeral Home. Romney on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pjn.1Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday. March 19. at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Reece officiating.Interment will be in the Indian Mound Cemetery. Romney Military graveside rites will be accorded by the veterans' organizations of Hampshire County.The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Kidney FUnd, 6110 Executive Blvd..’ Suite 1010, Rockville.
