CULLEN; Mary Alice Cullen passed away peacefully at the Tri-Lake Health Centre, Kiliarney, .Man. on June 22, 1988. Mary was born in 1901, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs, Robert Moffat of Hoimfield. She attended Rose Valley School and married Wilford Cullen In 1924. They farmed in the Rose Valley district until 1950 when they retired to Kiliarney. Mary was a member of the Erskine Presbyterian Church and the Kiliarney Women’s Insitute. She cherished her many friends and her home was always open to them. She is survived by: her son Jim and daughter-in-law Mavis of Winnipeg; her daughter Marian and son-in-law Roy Scott of Calgary; her daughter Luella and son-in-law Louis Czech of Brandon; her daughter-in-law Margaret Cullen of Brandon; and her sister Pearl (Mrs. Gordon Armstrong) ofKiliarney. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Wilford in 1975 and her son Don in 1983. Service was held at the Kiliarney United Church with Rev. Peggy Kinsman officiating. Interment in the Kiliarney cemetery. Pallbearers were Arnold Niehol, Mert Nichol, George Moffat, Stanley Moffat, Gordon Stacey and Bob Black- If friends so desire, contributions may be made to the Manitoba Heart Foundation, 301 -352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Man. R3B 2H8 or Erskine Presbyterian Church, Kiliarney.
