Died, at his borne in Miller town ship, on Sunday, July 3d, 1881, Jacob Z. Nowlin, aged about 35 yeers. The deceased was born in the township in which he died, and was the youngest son of the late Jeremiah and PaiOfiUft Nowlin. The deceased left a w?dcw, two beautiful little daughter, and three brothers. The deceased was afflicted for a long time, but seemed to bear his sufferings with great patience. His three brothers, although, having families of their own, watched at his bedside alternately for many months, perhaps not roiaaing one night; much credit is clue them for being so faithful and kind to their dying brother. The deceased was universally known aa a good man and kind neighbor. He left behind a large, valuable and beautiful property/ Funeral services by Rev. B. Plummer, assisted by Rev. Geo. Cochran. His remains were intered at Pella cemetery.
