ALMA MARIE BUTTERFIELD (nee LOISELLE)September 11,1917 - January 23, 2011Peacefully on January 23, 2011, Alma Butterfield passed away at West Park Manor.Alma was the youngest child of seven, bom to Charles Loiselle and Alma Marion, September 11, 1917, in St. Boniface, Manitoba. The last surviving of her siblings, she was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Raymond, in 2008, and beloved daughter, Linda, in 1991. She is survived by her sons Gerald and Gregory (Ira van den Berg), her grandchildren Paul (Sandra) Kreutzer and their children Emily and Jack of Ontario, Karen (Mike) Sear and their children Ben and Luke of Ontario, Kim Kreutzer of British Columbia, and Tyler, Chase, and Mason Butterfield.Alma’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and Me me re. She spent many happy years with family and friends at their cottage at Victoria Beach and, in her latter years, winters were spent travelling the southern states.We would like to send our sincerest thanks to the staff at West Park Manor for their wonderful care provided to Alma over the years.Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Chapel Lawn. A reception will be held on Saturday, January 29 at 3:30 p.m. at 911 Community Row.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba in Alma’s memory.May the winds of love blow softly and whisper for you to hear, That we’ll always love and miss you and wish that you were here.
