She te survived by her tro sons, Harold (Mery) Kreutzer and Bernard (Gonna) Kreutzer. ter grandson Jamie (Jackey) Kreutzer. grand daughter Joy (Trevor) Ktessen. her great grandchildren, Jeremy. Wten Irene was 5 years old ter family moved to Liptm SK and two ^ears teter ttey moved to McGorald Hills to try a hand at farming. With a blind mother and all these children to fe3d. tines were more tten tough tor Irene and ter family. Ste started school at ace 7 and at 13 ste had to quit after only compteting grade 5 to help her Mom look after the younger children.£5 per month wasn't making ends met. So at 19 ^ears old Gram leaded to To ronto to live with her steto r A nn te but o nty made it to Store wall MB after her sister became ill. She eventually made ter way back to Glenella and a coupte years teter she marred John William Kreutzer (born ontenS. 1912) on November 25th. 1912. Ttey were marred in Zion Lutheran church and started tteir temity life on the farm in Plunes.Harold was tteir first born on Jure 26th. 1913 and Bernard arrived three years later on July 31st, 1916.1 re re and John loved term life and it was a dream to have their boys raise their te miles on tie sane yard with them. Tines were not alivays easy though. Ttey had no car for the first five ^ears of their marrtega. Their first tractor was bought in 1919 and ttey we toned hydro in 1951. Irene worked in tie fields. the yard and chore tine along side John. Every building was painted and every farm animal was cared for. Irene nracte sure of it.After John W.. passed array from cancer in 1978. I re re moved from the farm to Plunes wtere she Iked ter tie text 35 years. She was proud to te known as Gram to rranyand loved everyone. Marlin was her first grandchild and he te tie reason we call ter Gram. Ste loved him with all of her heart and was rever the same whan he passed aivay from a tragic car accident on March 5th. 1931. She loved all of us tie sane and would go on about each one of us - like how smart tie great grandchildren are. how funny Jamte is. and how ste loved her girls. Gonna Mary. They worked better many hours, canning, butctering chickens, leuling water and feeding tie animalsHarold was ativays tie re for Gram and would do anything br ter. She was ativays after him to retire but te centimes to farm full tilt.Irene loved to stay active by playing cards, bingo and won several bowling trophies. Many teppy hours were spent on the teke fishing with Bernard Jamte and ter brottersJack Ernte.Irene Ik'ed in Gountiy Meadows tor the test 5 years of her life.
