Louis Corners The couple observed their golden wedding m November. 1953. The couple operated the Roethel homestead farm in the Town of Meeme for 10 years when they moved to Kiel where he was emploved as a cattle shippei fot the Kiel Mercantile Assn.Fifteen \ears ago he established his own egg having and selling business. He served the city as a member of the county board for several years He was a member of the state Assembly from 1918 to 1920 and from 1926 to 1928 He was on the Manitowoc County Board for three eats. clerk of the school district while on the fatm. and chief of the Kiel Fire Department for six vears He is survived by his wife He was preceded in death by three sisteis and two brothers.He was a member of St Peter Evangelical and Reformed Chinch where sen ices will be held at 2 pm Tuesday hv the Rev E. L. Worthman. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Meisel-witz Funeral Home from 2 pm.Monday until 11 am.
