JULIUS CHAMBERS DIES IN NEW YORKNEW YORK, Feb. 12.—Julius Chambers, widely knows newspaperman*short story writer, explorer and playwright, died tonight of pneumonia. He was born In Bellefontaine, Ohio In 1S47.Mr. Chambers entered the newspaperfield after his graduation from CornellUniversity and «u assoctetid witi several New York daOlea Ha eatst*Ilshed the Paris edition of Q» Wen York Herald In 1887, having been thsrfpaper's correspondent at various droefin London. Paris, Madrid and Havana. In 1873 he fitted out an exploring expedition which discovered Elk Lakes Minn., headwaters of the MississippiRiver.
