Bell Rose apartments, pioneer Manitoba lawyer, dle« Sunday at Grace hospital* Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2.30 p.m. in the A. B. Gardiner funeral chapel.Born at Kxeter, Ont.* Mr. Mon** teilh homesteaded in the Killar* ney district prior to studying law at the University of Manitoba* After his graduation, he practiced hi killarney for ^ number of years, moving to Winnipeg in 1912. He was a member of Westminster Uni-, ted church.During the recent visit of Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh to Winnipeg, Mr, Monte if h' was presented to the royal couple.Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R. P. Bower and Marguerite; two brothers, Dr. R. li* and *T H.j two sisiers, Mrs. William Chestnut and J. R. Hodsoii, and ihroograndchildren, His wile, Mary,died in 19*11.Burial will be in Elmwood ce me lory.
