Lorean Helen Pelfrey88, of Yuba City passed away February 1, 2010 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville. She was born May 27, 1921 in Garrin County, Oklahoma. Lorean was a longtime Yuba-Sutter resident. She was a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Yuba City. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.Those who shared her life were her daughter Janice Henley (Patrick) of Los Banos, CA, sons Jack Pelfrey (Marjie) of Yuba City, John Pelfrey (Cynthia) of Yuba City, Jim Pelfrey (Rebecca) of Yuba City, Jeff Pelfrey (Donna) of Yuba City, Joe Pelfrey (Chrisdee) of Janesville, CA, brother J.D. Redmond (Norma) of Yuba City, 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.Lorean is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Edward Pelfrey.Funeral services will be Friday February 5, 2010 at 10:00 am at Ullrey Memorial Chapel 817 Almond Street Yuba City. Burial will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park.
