Eliza Jane Woodley Died at Cortland on v Last Night, Aged 86Mrs. Eliza Jan© Woodley, a pioneer of DeKalb county and long a resident of Cortland, passed from this life at her home in that village last night, Monday, about midnight after a long period of failing health, in her 87th year.Jane Ben wick was born July 4, 1839, in Canada, a daughter of William Ben-wick, a native of Johnstown, Scotland, and of Mary Ann (Beed) Benwick. She was married to John T. Woodley.Mrs. Woodley leaves surviving four sisters, Mrs. Mary Belles of Clinton, Iowa, Mrs. Jennie Gordon of Genoa, Mrs. Abbie Eigenscliank of Chicago, Mrs. Ida Fullenger of Belvidere, and one brother Walter Benwick of Sycamore.The funeral services will be held at the hdme at 2 and at the Cortland Methodist church at 2:30 o’clock on Saturday afternoon, and the interment will be in Cortland cemetery.
