DEATH LIST OF A DAY.William Baumgarten.William Baumgarten. the furniture manufacturer and decorator, died on Thursday of apoplexy in Washington, D. C. He was 60 years old. He was for over twenty years associated with the firm of Herter Brothers, and was in charge of the interior decorating of the houses of William H. Vanderbilt, D. O. Mills, J. P. Morgan, Josiah M. Fiske, andWilliam Rockefeller.Mr. Baumgarten was the first person to introduce the manufacture of Gobelintapestries in this country, importing fou* French weavers for the purpose in 18015. His widow. Clara Frankel Baumgarten, I and two children survive him. The funeral will be held at his residence, 201 Riverside Drive. The burial will be at Ken-sico Cemetery.
