McDiarmid Drive. Mrs. Mehos was born in southern Greece in 1896 She married Alexander Mehos in 1919, and came to Canada in 1958 to reside with her daughter. Mrs. Mehos was predeceased by an infant son in 1921, a daughter in 1930 and a son killed in the Second World War. Surviving are: her husband Alexander, daughter, Fotina (Mrs. Flo Pappas) and son-in-law Dino. There are three grandchildren: Bob, Gina (Mrs. Anton a k i s ) and Alex. Prayers will be said at the Brockie-Donovan Chapel on Tuesday (tonight) at 7:30 p.m Funeral service will be held at the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday, April 28. 1982 at 2 p.m. Rev. April 24. 1982 at the Brandon GeneralHospital, Brandon, ManEvans Pritchard was born at Holmfield, Man on Nov. 26, 1918. His marriage to Gwen Leece took place on Oct. 14, 1943. Shortly afterwards, he was posted overseas as a wireless radiooperator in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was discharged as a flying officer on April 2, 1945. Evans and Gwen began farming in the Ha-zeldell district near Holmfield. He served the district as a school board trustee, as a councillor for the RM of Roblin, and a member of the Holmfield Loyal Orange Ixxlge. In April, 1961, the farm was sold and soon after the familymoved to Roblin where Evans was employed by Veterans Land Administration until 1967 He was a:’ active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Roblin Branch A transfer to the Brandon VLA office brought the family to their home at 233 Twenty-Seventh Street He has especially enjoyed curling and golfing. Evans is survived by his loving wife Gwen; hisson Murray and wifeAudrey of Steinbach and his four daughters and their husbands: Trudy and Bill Gray ofKillarney; Shirlev and(irant Watson of Brandon; Valerie and fiance Michael Morley of Medi-•~T,‘ ■ 4rcine Hat. Alta., and Faye and Rick Chrest of Brandon He will also Ik* sadly missed by his six grandchildren, Melanie andCurtis Gray, Darren.Ryan and T r i c i aPritchard, and KyleWatson He also leaves to mourn his passing three sisters, Evelyn Stacey and Mabel Agar of Brandon; Dorothy Black of Miami, Man.; a brother Elmer of Kenora, Ont. and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Violet Pritchard, and a brother Garnet. Evanswas a loving and devotedhusband, father, and grandfather and will be ever loved and remem-lerod by his family. Funeral services were held at Knox United Church on Tuesday, April 27, 1982 at 11 a.m. Interment followed at theRosewood MemorialGardens. Active pallbearers were Earl Gardiner. Doug Agar, Jack Black, Mac Jackson, Jac Hiebert, and Morgan Johnson.
