Word has been received of the death of Verna Lou (Laycock) Smith, daughter of the late Jim and Ethel Laycock of the Zion District. Verna Lou was a nurse and lived in Michigan. She passed away at the age of 65 after having suffered Leukemia. She was buried at Grosse Point, Michigan. We extend sympathy to relatives who live in this community.
