After waiving preliminary Mon day before Justice of the Peace H. J. Brown, three Indians, Mack King Daws Dyer and Dave Homer, were bound over to the district court on a charge of murder. They are charged in the complaint ‘with be ing connected with the death of Spence Parks, a farmer of hear Stratford, whose demise’ was said to have resulted from poisoning. King’s bond was fixed at $5,000 and Dyer and Homer's at $2,500 each upon agreement of the county attorney. The hearing will come up at the next criminal session of the district court. Ali made bail. The state charged that the three men were present at the home of Spence Parks shortly before his death. Contents of Parks’ stomach, examined after his death, are said to have shown the presence of ar senic. Ponca City---The ‘‘pay-up’” week held by merchants in this city in sulted in three-fourths of the city’s outstanding bills being collected ac cording to the committee of the merchants’ association which plan ned the campaign. :
