HILLSBORO. June 29 (A) Two men were held here today in con nection with the wounding of Fred Akins, who said he was shot after an automobile accident. Akins, shot through the chest, was considered in a critical condi tion. Akins told officers that his auto mobile was damaged in the accident, and that he demanded that the men pay damages. One of them grabbed an automatic pistol from the car and opened fire, he said.
