E. J. LIMBACKMarine Corps Base, San Diego, Calif.— The Communications school of the Marine Corps takes their students into the mountains near the San Diego base for the last -week’s instructions where they work under simulated battle conditions. • Shown in the picture is Private first class E. J. Limback, USMC, son of Mrs.Bertha Limback and brother of Mrs. Chas. Roth, Jr., of this city. Limback is splicing a telephone wire preparatory to waking the installation ih a tree in the forest. Before he joined the Marine Corps, Pfc. Limback worked for the Roth Drug Company in Ackley.
