D,p prior to coming to Janesville 11 years ago to make his home with Air, and Mrs, Ellis. He was employed as a bartender at the Evergreen tavern on the Janes-ville-Beloit road, owned by A|r. Ellis. He was carried on the war department records as missing following the fall of the Philippines until June, 1943. Until his transfer to Osaka, Japan/ Pvt. Richter was reported to be held in.
