Army under the SelectiveService system will include 41 menfrom the two local draft hoards,' it was indicated today following receipt of word from Erie that that number passed their final physical examinations last Friday.Turning in one of the best records to date, onlv one man failed | to pass the army tests in Erie. All 14 of those sent by Local Board No. 1 were slated for induction. while 27 of 28 from Local Board No. 2 were passed.No date has been set for the induction of these men.Thus far. there have been 190 men inducted into the army since the start of the Selective Service system. These include 97 men from Board No. 1 and 93 from Board No. 2,Throughout the state it is expected that an additional 60,000 men will be called ini'-) the nation s armed services between now and next July, according to state Selective Service headquarters.
