ppKANE, Wash., Sept. 29 (U.R)— Spokane's transportation facilities, communications lines and bridges today lay in theoretical ruins after 15 U. S. army bombers played war over the city in a long-range mock raid from San Rkfael, Calif.The planes of the seventh bombardment group of Hamilton field pretended Spokane was an enemy stronghold. In three raking dashes over the city, the planes theoretically wiped out railroad yards, highways and bridges and disabled communications and hydro-electric centers.The planes flew here, in threegroups and converged over the cityin two sections of six and one of three. After maneuvering for 20 minutes they landed at Felts fieldto take part in maneuvers with the 116th observation squadron of the Washington national guard.
