REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIERSMonument Dedicated to Viltiam Gipson— Others to be Remembered.The dedication of the monument to the memory of William Gipson, a rev* olutionary soldier buried at the Gipson cemetery, north of Thorntown, was attended by a crowd of between 2000 and 2000 people. The address was made by Kid. J. A. Johnston, of this city, and the monument was unveiled by Isaac Gipson, a son of the soldier.Monuments in honor of two more of these heroes will be dedicated soon and the following programs have been prepared:Elias Plew, buried at Pleasant View, six miles west of Lebanon ,Sunday, October 22, at 2 o’clock:MUSH-.Prayer ..................Kld.
