JOHN THOMAS WORRELLJohn Thomas Worrell, age 70,died at the home of his sob. L.R. Worrell, 21 Fairview avenue. Monday night at llo’clock. Mr. Worrell was a retired merchant; he had been in ill health for about two years.Funeral services will be held at the Pentecostal Holiness church Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock conducted by the Rev.J. Floyd Williams and the Rev.M. D. Freeman. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home of L.R. Worrell until the time of the funeral.Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Dot Mercer, Mrs.J. A. Eatman, Mrs. Jim Mercer, all of Wilson; two sons, L. R. Worrell of Wilson and E. M. Worrell of Richmond, Va.; 31 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; one brother, Mathew Worrell of Richmond, Va., and one sister, ja Mrs. Mary Jenkins, also of Richmond.
