Five Mid-county Youths To Leave For Army DutyFive selectees have been called from draft board No. 5 from the1 Mid-county area for induction into the army on Sept. 29. ”Those going from Port Neches are Hildridge Irving Prejean, George Glover Blanchard, Jr., Cecil Marion Carre and Clarence Hardy Mericle. George William Marlow of Nederland also was accepted for the call.
