Thapr ester part of his foreign service was in the Philippines. He was in the United States army sis years, his tipe expiring while he was in the Philippines.From our inland possessions he went to London, where he iuir.cJ the British armv. with which he served in India and other possessions of the cmnirc.lie was killed in the trenches in Franco about August or September,myHis mother and nne slater live in Indianapolis and one brother r.thl one 'ister in Orange county.Thouirh he died in a Rritish uniform. fighting for the sarr.e great cause that his mother country espoused nearly two years later, to those who knew him he is still an Orange ruunly boy.
