Thomas A. Perry Returns from KoreaSgt. Thomas A. Perry of Laurens was one of 565 veterans of the first marine division sehed* uled to arrive in San Francisco, Calif., yesterday (Wednesday) from Korea aboard the transport Gen. R, L. Howze.He is the son of Mr. and Mrs, C. B. Perry of Havelock and his wife is the former Carolyn Run-neberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Lawrence Runneberg of Laurens.Sgt. Perry has been in Korea for eight months. He enlisted in the marines Oct. 23, 1950, and served at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Calif., until he was sent to Korea in January. He will be discharged from the marine corps next .month.
