Off to KoreaSeaman Charles Kauffman sailed recently for his second trip to the Korean war zone. He is a quartermaster on the USS Ajax, a repair ship,Seaman Charles Kauffman sailed Sept. 13 aboard the USS Ajax, a repair ship, for the Korean area. It is his second trip to the zone on the same ship. He is serving as quartermaster.Kauffman enlisted in the NavySept. 25, 1950 and trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station. He was home on a 30-day furlough this summer.Before entering the service he was employed as a clerk and stenographer at the New York and Pennsylvania Co.He is married to the former Roberta Smith, 612 E, Church st. ttis mother, Mrs. Mary Kauffman, a local native, now lives in Easton*HU address: Seaman Charles Kauffman, USS Ajax (AR-6), c/o FPO, San Francisco, Calif*
