Tkke Hautk, Sept 23, 1862. Editor Exprett—Sib: The list of killed and wounded in Company D. let Regiment, Indiana Volunteers, in the late battle at Richmond, Kentucky, as given by Capt. Allen in tbis morning’s Expreu, contains so many errors, that I fell constrained to mako some correctionsHe gives among the killed, tho names of John Baum and John Reed. By John Reed, I suppose is meant Robert Reed, as there was no John Reed in the company. Neither of them was hurt. The names of A. T. McDaniel, Perry Eppert, fieqjamin Tribble, Wo. L. Cromwell, and Nathan Bivens are found in the list of wounded. They all came through that severe conflict unharmed. The following is a correct list of the wounded of said company.Capt. D. A. Conover, right side, slightly ; 1st Lieut. E. A. Thompson, right arm, slightly ; 2d Lieut. Thomas Cullin, in head, slightly ; Sergeant, Samuel N. Rule, right groin, mortally; Corporal, John D. Walker, right breast, mortally ; Privates, Wm. R. Davis, right arm, slightly ; Giles W. Duncan, left arm, slightly; James W. Grass, right hand, slightly ; Gotlieb O. Haug. right thigb, mortally ; Peter Heath in hand, slightly ; John T. Rissler, right hand, slightly ; and Robert H. Wooley, right band, slightly. John Inman, missing. Whoerer furnished Oapt. Alien with the list for Company l. was uot, it seems acquainted with its true condition.T. M. ROBERTSON_ Orderly Sergeant, Co. D.
