Five Local Men Complete Basic Airmen TrainingFive young- Robstown airmen have just completed t h e i r Air Force basic military training: at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, the Gateway to the Air Force.They are:Pablo Hernandez, IS. son of Mr. and Mrs. Hernar.de/. of 500 West | Main.Oscar B. Perez, 22. son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Perez of 210 East Avenue B.Edgar Roy Korff, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin W. Korff, .315 East Avenue P.Herman C. Blahuta, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. 11. Blahuta of, Route 2.And Robert J. Luce, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Standlee, Route 2.Their Lackland training has prepared them for entrance into Air Force technical training or for an Air Force duty assignment. The course includes a scientific evaluation of their aptitude and inclination for following a particular career field.
