Collard of 513 Second Ave. N., Edmonds, has been commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation from Officer Training School (OTS) at Lackland AFB, Tex.Lieutenant Lerwick, selected for OTS through competitive examination, is being assigned to Chanute AFB, 111., for training as an aircraft maintenance officer.The lieutenant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Trygve M. Lerwick, is a 1961 graduate of Renton High School. He received an associate's degree in 1964from Everett Junior College and a bachelor's degree in psychology this year from Seattle University.
