with the first bunch; the next ones will be a month getting their uniforms and I will have the advantage of them in drill work. Our barracks are near the Y. M. C. A. and we go in there and write a letter or read a good magazine any time we are not on duty. There is a fine bunch of men here from all over the state and Oklahoma; not so rough like the regular army men. We have the best Captain of any company in the army; he was a private for fourteen years, and so heknows how to treat us. One of Lieutenants was raised in Camem 1 wish you would send me The Repo er every week so I can see what happening at home. With love to all.WILLIAM.Address: Pvt. W. W. I,ongmire, C-i Travis. Texas.
