with the first bunch; the next ones will be a month getting their uniforms and I will have the advantage of them in drill work. Our barracks are near the Y. M. C. A. and we go in there and write a letter or read a good magazine any time we are not on duty.There is a fine bunch of men here from all over the state and Oklahoma; not so rough like the regular army men. We have the best Captain of any company in the army; he was a private for fourteen years, and so heknows how to treat us.
