Wholtey Camp and Auxiliary of the United Spanish War Veterans plans lo meet no more. Their last luncheon was Sept. 11 at a Centralia restaurant.Thirty-three Tnen signed the charter to re-organize the Centralia Camp Sept. 5, 1921. Some eight years earlier they had organized and then forfeited the charter.Twenty-nine women signedthe auxiliary charier Oct. 20, 1024, after organizing on April 8, 1924. The treasurer's book for 1924 lists 145 paid -members of the auxiliary.Three Veterans RemainToday, three Spanish-American War veterans af*filiated with the organization are left in the Lewis County area.
