A 1962 graduate of Palo I)uro High School, Hethcox attended Amarillo College prior to entering the Army.• • •The Army's military police training course at Ft. Gordon, Ga., has been completed by Pvt. Glenn A Goodwin, son of Mr. and Mrs.G. Goodwin. 1207 N. Seminole. Goodwin’s wife, Leola lives in Lubbock.• • •Thomas E. Pate, electrician’s mate third class, is serving aboardthe ammunition ship USS Nitro which has been awarded the Nay's 1963 Battle Efficiency Pennant. A unit of the Atlantic Fleet, the Nitro has been operating with the 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean since February. Pate is the son of Mrs. Pam J. Pate, 1504 Travis.• • _Currently attending an eight-week personnel administration course at Ft. Polk,Ixon F. Markham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby F. Markham, 2S06 Palm. The 10-year-old soldier enlisted in the Army In May of this year. He i^a 1962 graduate of Claude High School.• • •Jose Samora, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe S. Samora, 1528 E. 5th, has been promoted to the rank of lance corporal by the Marine Corps. He currently is assigned to the 1st Marine Division stationed at Camp Pendleton.• • •Maj. Henry A. Moseley, whose wife is the former Lillie M.lfewett, 2212 Tyler, is serving in Viet Nam with a U.S. Air Force advisory unit which is assisting the Vietnamese.
