PFC. HAROLD SLAGLE RETURNSFROM KOREA, SEPTEMBER 13Pfc. Harold Slagle, son of Mrs. Florence Slagle of Patoka arrived in San Francisco, California, Sunday, September 13 aboard the Marine Phoenix troop ship after spendfing 10 months on active duty in Korea with the Service Battery of the 49th Field Artillery Batallion. Pfc. Slagle expects to arrive home this week-end for a 30-day leave after which he will go to Fort Riley, Kansas.
