T5*ENCAMPMENT OF THE NATIONAL GUARD\mobioIanHetGuthrie. Okla., Sept. 17.— (Spl.) —The flrsl detachment uf the Oklahoma national guard, which will be here this, week, 850 strong, for its annual encampment, arrives tomorrow. All of the details for the encampment have been Worked out, and there will be no loss of time In getting down to work: CaptainS. H. Harrison, of Oklahoma City, regimental adjutant, has spent most of the past week here, and all of the quartermaster's supplies . have been checked over to him by Adjutant General Miles. Captain C. F. Barrett, of. Shawnee.. regimental commissary, was here neurly two weeks ago and made all of the necessary contracts for commissary supplies. »One of the notable features of this year’s encampment 'will be the large attendance. Niles to be fully 98 per cent of the entire enrollment of' the guard.. There, never ha* been on encampment ~ *• when morethan 70 per cent of tho men were in attendance.While the actual mobilization occurs on Tuesday, the first detachment of 100 men, fr0m the engineering and signal corps, comes in Sunday to lay off the camp, which Is located on a beautiful site just at the edge of the city, and only a few blocks from a-car line.
