path*Don’t believe It-—A Dubuque paper tells the story af a girl named Williams, more patriotic than wise, who enlisted .in Captain. Boavdman’s company, bound to go' the war anyhow, She did military duty for over a week and slept at night in. the same tent with a very nice young man who didn’t know the difference.—When her sext was discovered by a committee of ladles appointed for that purpose, the young man in question, wa3 so scandalized that he talked of blowing his brains out. The girl was found to be of very respecs table parents, to whom she was returned.
