: Delegates Give Congregation at Christian Church Review of GreatMeetingLast night at the Christian church some of the people who attended the International Convention of the Christian Churches at Winona Lake a week ago, gave reports of the convention. There was so much to be said that the people found it difficult to select theitems to mention. But one of the inspiring features was the presence of so many missionaries about whom the church people had read, and then could see ami hear. Their messageswere a breath from the remote outposts of the world. Frank Hazel rigg and Luther Braden had the pleasure of attending the missionary breakfast at one of the hotels on Sunday* morning. at which there were about one hundred and fifty people present, missionaries and guests. The delegates also spoke of the wonderful singing and the great addresses of the outstanding preachers. The Bible school .last Sunday morning was mentioned by all as one of the fire hours of the, convention. Therewere more than 3,000 present, from the cradle roll to the most elderly, and about $1,300 was raised to place a Ford car in one of the missionary stations of India an«l to apply dn the sal-ary of the new primary worker amongthe negro children, of the south. But the high peak of the convention, the delegates reported, wa? the communion service on Sunday afternoon. Between 7,000 and 8,000 people were present at the service, and yet they were served with emblems withinthirty minutes. It requireddeasons, 60 elders, and 30 ministers, and they wereMr. Lett, the local pastor, and Mr. Braden were mong the officers and ministers. The impressiveness of theservice, it was agreed, was beyond alldescription.Besides those mentioned, the others attending from Greensburg were Mrs. George Adams, Mrs. Anna Mozing'o and Mrs. FarF Brown.
