Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Buffinger of De Pue have received word from their son, Sergeant W. G. Buffinger, who is now in Normandy, France Sgt. Buffinger, who is serving in a radio outfit in a replacement detachment, tells of a number of interesting experiences in varying the monotony of the “K” rations. While Wayne prepared a stove, a buddy, who could speak French scoured the countryside procuring a chicken and vegetables including corn on the cob which they preceeded to cook, American style. Sgt.
