1000 Letters From Army Men '*HUNTINGTON PARK, Calif., Sept. 15—(AP)— When Betti [Haring, pretty drum majorette,! was made sweetheart of the 58thpursuit group of the army air i corps at Selfridge, Mich., recently, she promised to answer all letters received from selectees. !Now, she says, she has received! more than 1,000 letters from army men all over the country. It’s a big job but he’s going to keep her promise, she says.
