NEWSOf Those in the ServiceGreat Lakes, 111., Sept. 9—Stanley Mrozek, motor machinist’s mate, third class, has been awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in action July 12, while serving: aboard an LST.Machinist’s Mate Mrozek is a brother of Mrs. Jennie Rykowski, Route 1, Dane, Wis.The Purple Heart was awarded the Bluejacket in the name of the President by Vice Admiral William Glass-ford.T/Cpl. Thomas LaCrosse returned to Camp Davis, North Carolina, Tue§-T/Sgt. and Mrs. Roland LaCrosse and family returned to Columbus,Ohio, on Monday afternoon.
