War Claims■Two DecaturCounliansGBERLIN — Funeral arrangements for Col, Rex K. Sage, 49, son of Mrs. James R. Sage, Oberlin, and a native of Decatur county are pending. Burial will be in Arlington National cemetery.Sage was killed Sunday in Vietnam when the helicopter in which he was riding was shot down by North Vietnamese gunners,*He had served as senior advisor to the 23rd Vietnamese Military Division since May.He is the fourth native Decatur c'ountian to be killed in the Vietnam war and the second to die within 16 days.Sp-4e John Diedericfo, Jennings, was killed Aug, 23. Services for Diederich were conducted in New Almelo Sept. 4.Burial was in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church cemetery there.Jennings^ died- of burns received when his Army artilleryunit was engaged in a battle.
