THE BOYS IN BLUE.The Survivor*) of th‘* I flSud R» giimntHad a Splendid Time at Their Reunion.The surviving members of the 162nd O. V. I., held their seventh annual reunion at Nimisilla Park, (old fair grounds) Canton. O., on Thursday, September 2, 1897.The forenoon was spent by the boys’* in hearty greetings and social chat about long by-gone days. A short business meeting was held, conducted by Lieut. H. C. Bowman, Oo. A, who is president of the organization.Two committees were appointed viz:. Finance—Samuel VVillaman, J. VV-Faulk and Alpheus H milton. Executive for 1898—Geo. H. Spangler, L. K~ Harford and T B. Lout sen heiser.The officers elected for 1898 are: Presi dent, S. C. Bowman, of Co. A. Vice-president, D. W. Dehiff, of Co. G. Secretry and treasurer, H C. Holl, Co. K. The place for the reunion of '98 will be Nimisilla Park.After the business meeting the boys* and their friends marched to the Art hall where the ladies of the W. C. T. U., served a bountiful dinner.fhe meeting for the afternoon was-opened by C. A. Dougherty, (son of the lieutenant colonel of the regiment, Dr. J. E. Doughertv) who mad-* a tine welcome address which was responded to byComrade Urias Mohier, of Co. K. .MajorFrank Baiid, of the 43rd O. V. I., and j. J. Zaiser, of the 115th O. V.
