Cornwells GI killedPvt Robert J. Weidle. U.S. Army, son ol Mr. and Mrs. William F. Weidle Sr., 1095 Byberry' Road, Cornwells Heights, was killed in action in Vietnam last Wednesday.Pvt Weidle’s family was notified Sunday, on his 20th birthday. He was serving with the 11th Infantry Brigade of the America! Division when he was killed by enemey forces in Quang Ngai Province.Bom in Philadelphia. Pvt. Weidle was a 1969 graduate of Bensalem High School. He enlisted last January and arrived in Vietnam July 20.Surviving are his parents and two brothers, William F. Weidle Jr., 22, and John, 10, both living at home.No funeral arrangements have been made at this time.
