She graduatedfrom Dana Hall School in 1940 andSmith College, Northampton,Mass. in 1944. She received a Master of Arts Degree in liberalstudies from Wesleyan College, Middletown in 1970 and she did post graduate work at Indiana University and the State UniversityCollege at Plattsburgh, N.Y.Besides her husband, Mrs. Brooks is survived by two sons, Peter Reynolds Brooks of Englewood, N.J., and Stephen Converse Brooks of Darien; two daughters, Miss Marcia P. Brooksof Darien and Mrs. Fred W.
